Teaching music is of fundamental importance for a harmonious and creative development. Therefore, it is recommended to start playing an instrument at a young age. Children are particularly malleable and can learn to play an instrument quickly, having fun and expressing themselves freely through a language that knows no boundaries.

Here, I outline the medium to long-term objectives I have set for the educational journey, both at the basic and advanced levels:

The educational path is personalized and tailored to the student's preferences. Lessons are available for both children and adults. The sessions, whether conducted online or in person, can be offered in three languages: Italian, English, or German.

The benefits of playing an instrument


Playing a musical instrument helps to reduce stress, improves mental well-being, activates different brain areas simultaneously, enhances coordination, improves memory, and aids problem-solving skills.

Age groups and objectives

4-5 years old

  • This course is intended for children aged 4 and above who want to test their desire to learn to play a musical instrument
  • It helps children in their personal development  in terms of  concentration, and autonomy
  • It is structured as an introductory course to musical practice and the fundamentals of music
  • This course intends to develop the motor skills, to improve posture, to learns the basics of techniques, to understand the basic functional elements of the piano
  • Lesson duration 30-45 minutes
  • Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week

6-18 years old

  • This course is intended for students between 6 and 15 who want to improve the musical knowledge
  • The areas of study covered will be the following: listening training, learning rhythms, notation practice, stimulation of creativity, sight-reading training, acquisition and refinement of piano technique
  • The students will lear how to self regulate the practice time and will have the opportunity to build a repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary music
  • The initiation to chamber music instrumental practice is contemplated
  • The course can be a preparation to competitions, exams and exhibitions
  • Lesson duration 45-60 minutes.
  • Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week

Adults

  • All adults are invited to discover a personalized program with an original approach tailored to their preferences
  • The lessons are oriented towards personal development through the instrument, with a strong focus on motor skills and brain capacities through body coordination
  • Students will learn how to self-regulate practice time and will have the opportunity to build a repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary music
  • Lesson duration 60-90 minutes.
  • Frequency: 1 to 2 times per week
